Head of Strategic Finance (m/f/d)

Do you want to shape decisions rather than simply manage processes? As our Head of Strategic Finance, you will be part of our Leadership Team. You will not only take ownership of the financial model of a growing SaaS company, but also actively help shape the direction of the business.

As a member of the Leadership Team, you will contribute to key decisions regarding growth, investments, and resource allocation. At the same time, you will act as a trusted sparring partner to the management team on strategic business decisions.

We develop intelligent workforce planning software for the hospitality industry, helping companies deploy their employees exactly where they are needed. With our AI-powered cloud solution, we are shaping the future of workforce scheduling.

We are looking for a finance leader who will take ownership of our financial model, actively contribute to business decisions, and act as a true strategic partner to the Leadership Team as we scale the company to more than €25 million in ARR.

• Strategic Financial Planning: You will take ownership of our entire financial model and develop forecasts and scenario plans covering growth, workforce development, cash flow, and different business development scenarios.
• Business Performance Management: You will establish meaningful KPIs and develop reporting structures that provide the management team and investors with clear and continuous visibility into the company’s performance.
• Understanding and Managing SaaS Metrics: ARR, NRR, gross margin, CAC, LTV, and burn multiple are more than just metrics to you. You will actively use them to further develop our business model and support strategic financial decision-making.
• Cash Management: You will be responsible for liquidity planning, closely monitor runway and cash flow, and create financial predictability for our continued growth.
• Investor Relations: Together with the management team, you will prepare board meetings and investor discussions and develop meaningful analyses and materials to support decision-making.
• Scaling Finance: You will establish efficient processes, systems, and controlling structures, automate recurring workflows, and build a Finance organisation that can keep pace with our growth.
• Building the Team: As the company grows, you will continuously develop the Finance function and build a high-performing team over the long term.

Your Experience

• Several years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or Corporate Finance
• Experience working in a SaaS company or a fast-growing technology business
• A very strong understanding of modern SaaS metrics and how to interpret them
• Experience building financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses
• Confidence in working with investors, banks, and shareholders
• Experience with BI, reporting, or ERP systems is an advantage

Your Educational and Professional Background

• You have completed a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a comparable field.
• Ideally, you have previously worked in auditing or management consulting, for example at one of the Big Four firms, before taking on responsibility within the Finance function of a high-growth company.
