At Nesto, we combine technology with a real-world problem from everyday work life. Our cloud-based solution makes workforce planning smart and tailored to needs, helping companies in the restaurant and hospitality industries plan their teams more efficiently. We work with brands such as McDonald’s, L’Osteria, and Lagardère, among others.
What drives us is the combination of technology, real customer value, and the commitment to continuously improve.
We work transparently, take responsibility, and support one another. At Nesto, you can contribute your ideas, help shape decisions, and work with us on a solution that’s already making a difference today—and has a lot more to offer.

Permanent employee
Why Nesto - why now?
Your responsibilities at Nesto
- You talk to users: You interview restaurant operators, shift managers and employees. You observe how work gets done.
- You turn insight into direction: You define the problem, map the workflow and set a clear design direction with Product and Engineering.
- You build with AI: You use AI to research, explore, prototype, test and iterate. You create working product experiences, not only static Figma designs.
- You validate early: You put concepts and prototypes in front of users. You use feedback to improve or change the solution before production.
- You design for real operations: You make complex workflows simple, clear and reliable. You consider roles, edge cases, accessibility and responsive behaviour.
- You ship with the team: You work closely with Product Managers and Engineers. You clarify decisions, resolve details and support implementation.
- You improve how we work: You share patterns, practical feedback and better ways of using AI in product development.
Your background that sets you apart
You combine research, interaction-design craft and practical product judgement.
What will help you succeed
- You are curious: You enjoy learning, trying new tools and finding better ways to solve problems.
- You like building with AI: You use AI with care and judgement. You are excited by what it makes possible.
- You want to talk to users: You believe the best product decisions come from understanding real work.

Your experience
- You have designed real software products: You can show how you turned complex B2B or operational workflows into clear product experiences.
- You have worked in an AI-native product process: You use AI from research through validation and delivery. You know when to question and refine its output.
- You enjoy building: You can create interactive prototypes and working product experiences. You do not rely only on static design files.
- You make strong product decisions: You use research, product signals and usability feedback to choose what to build and how it should work.
- You know the craft: You have a strong eye for interaction, visual design, hierarchy, states and detail.
- You work well with engineers: You understand implementation well enough to make practical decisions and resolve trade-offs together.
- You communicate clearly: You explain your reasoning, invite challenge and keep the team aligned.
- You are fluent in English: Fluent English communication skills are required.
Nice to have
- You have experience with operational B2B software: Workforce management, scheduling, HR or payroll experience is valuable.
- You have contributed to a design system: You understand scalable patterns and shared foundations.
- You are interested in hospitality: Restaurants, workforce operations or frontline software interest you.
- You have professional German skills: German is preferred but not required.
